The Benefits of Raw Juice Therapy

Foods of alkaline nature extract the toxic substances accumulated in the cells of the body and help in their elimination. Alkali-genic foods are considered as purifying foods. Diet rich in alkali-genic foods are more necessary in sickness. Sickness is generally the result of acids accumulated in the body. There are specific juices meant for specific diseases. Raw fruits and vegetables have got rejuvenating effect on all organs of the body, including glands.

Raw juices of fruits are rich in vitamins minerals trace elements and enzymes and sugars. They need no digestion and they are instantaneously absorbed. Some vegetables stimulate insulin in the body. Bitter gourd, cabbage, cucumber, onion, garlic, tomatoes and radish contain antibiotic substances. Only freshfruits and vegetables are good for use. Canned, frozen foods and fruits are dangerous for health, so they must not be used.

The patient must drink one glass of juice every six times a day. After juice therapy, substitute it with fruits and milk and then gradually substituted by a balanced food.
